Do you have a passion for tennis? Interested in assisting competition, increasing participation or can offer your expertise to assist the running of CBTA?
CBTA has an exciting opportunity and is looking to fill the below roles in our committee!
Assistant Secretary – it is the duty of the Assistant Secretary to work closely with the General Secretary and assist in all of his or her defined tasks on a daily basis primarily of an administrative nature (See description for General Secretary in CBTA Constitution 2016, page 16)
Grants and Sponsorship Officer - shall work closely with the Publicity and Promotions Officer to promote the game of tennis and specifically to attempt to secure Sponsors for the Association in order to promote the aims and objectives of the Association (See description for Sponsorship Officer in the CBTA Constitution 2016, page 18)
Junior Competition Secretary - shall act as secretary to all junior competitions and functions conducted by the Competition Committees. Will be responsible for Junior Competition including the following tasks; to hold all competition registration forms; to receive all results of competition matches and to keep a record and points table from these results and display to players via website communication and to issue and receive subscriptions of money due to the Association and pay them into the hands of the Chief Financial Officer.
Junior Development Officer - shall actively encourage the progress of junior players to senior competitions. They shall also supervise the running of the Junior Development Competition and Development Hitting Squads. This person shall also be added to the Junior Committee(See description for Sponsorship Officer in the CBTA Constitution 2016, page 19) .
General Volunteer - a range of opportunities to casually assist competitions, tournaments and social events are available. This opportunity suits volunteers who are unable to make a continued commitment, are seeking work experience, work placement or event experience or are looking to help out and give back to their community!
