Hi - you may have noticed the CBTA's latest big project, HOT SHOTS tennis courts is now complete.  Built behind courts 1 and 2 Panania Tennis Centre and the Pro Shop, we were lucky enough to have the land donated by Panania Diggers Club.  The Club have also helped this wonderful children's project with land clearing and many other things.  Thanks to two Grants from Community Building Partnership Scheme (State Government, endorsed by Glenn Brookes MP), the CBTA could start this project and it finished before Xmas (Dec 23). Grand opening was on Saturday 14 February 2015, at 10am.   Here's a story the Express newspaper ran on Dec 9.  CLICK HERE Some photos of the finished project here. Ring Steve or Caroline to have a go on these marvellouse new little courts - bring the kids/grandkids and try them out!

The Thursday Mens Competition starts up next week with an impressive 11 teams.  Great news!!! with the handicap system, it should be a great comp.  Reserves are always needed - there's 3 to a team, so its a shorter time to play.  Here's the new fixture folder (with a couple of teams playing off Roger Bowman - that's good news)

You may be watching lots of tennis at the moment and have noticed ads for Fast4 - a new concept from Tennis Australia.  For a demonstration, click on the link and see some of CBTA's best players use the Fast 4 concept at Deverall Park recently.  It's fast and exciting and we know it will catch on.  http://youtu.be/9o2Bk2ZIe9Y.  Recorded by ion technology.

NOTE:  The Annual Revesby Workers Elite Player Scholarshp is now closed.  Selectors met with the Director of Revesby Workers Club and selections were made to be presented to the whole Committee Wednesday 25th February.
